C7 Light Sets
| NOMA was ever concerned with innovation and here is an idea they had for making lights safer. They put a fuse in the plug. The thoery was that the fuse would blow before a fire would start. The idea is still around today. Many sets are still made this way. | ![]() |

| Here is a nice old C7 set by an obscure brand called MUTER | ![]() |
| These three light bulbs (my traffic light) are unusual as they are C7 sized GE Mazda "Candle Bulbs". Most of these that you find are in the C6 size. These were a neat find. | ![]() |
| These are flourescent lights made in C7 size by Sylvania. They came out as a novelty in the 1940's. Their price though and the low level of luminence contributed to their inability to move off the shelves. They came in soft pastel colors and were white when unlit. The advertising trumpeted the fact that they were cool to the touch and little fingers couldn't get seared! They were well constructed though and very sought after now by collectors. I have another two sets put out by another company which I will be uploading later. |

| These are Noma "Halos". They were made in the 1950's for use on C7 bulbs. I have never seen them in C6 or C9 size. The idea was that it gave a glowing halo effect around the bulb like a candle. This is an original complete jobber box which would have been used where lights were being sold. The consumer could buy the whole box or just what was needed. This would be a good product to bring back into production. | ![]() |
