| The last of the Mayan sites I visited is Altun Ha, located near the coast 31 miles North of Belize City. It was here that the carved jade head of the Sun God, Kinich Ahua, was discovered, the largest (6 inches, 10 lbs.) of its type ever found. | ||||||||||
