Hi Paul,

I agree, Rick's account of our meeting is far better than anything that I could have come up with, even the truth, which is that Rick was near dead when I stumbled across his pathetic, city-boy corpse and it was only my savvy backwoods skills that pulled him back from the brink.

Thanks for posting all that stuff on your site.  I hope Don has time to transcribe some more of my letters, as I can't remember what I wrote.
