Hi Phil,

My trailname is "Trudge", which I gave to myself before leaving, partly in order to set up this email account on yahoo.  I know this is WAY too methodical, but I actually looked up "walking" in my Roget, saw trudge and then looked it up in my Websters.  The definition for the noun was something like, "a long, tiring walk".  And the verb was, "to walk along, often laboriously".  I thought that was funny and seemed to fit.  I hoped it would be unique as well, but I just recently heard that there is a couple, "Trudge" and "Smudge" that were slackpacking the Trail south of here.
