Howdy,
Well, as it turns out I am going to be riding a train to begin my adventure. Amtrak has a nice connection all the way to Harpers Ferry from Boston, provided you can get from Portland to Boston for departure at 6:40 AM! So I will be thinking of you and Woody as I roll along, clickety-clack. Although I don't know any Guthrie songs about buses either, he did write, "Take me for a ride in your car-car", and that's what I might be asking of you when I get close to Atlanta.
... The chance to clean-up, possibly resupply, and disgust you and the missus with my table manners would be great.
Time for these bootheels to be wanderin',
Greg
