NPS Appalachian Trail Map
The Appalachian Trail stretches over 2100 miles from Mount Katahdin in Maine to Springer Mountain in Georgia.
Each year thousands of people attempt to "thru-hike" the entire length of the AT, but less than 1 in 5 succeed.
Like most people who have set off on this adventure, I found it to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
You are welcome to read my journals and other writings from before, during, and after my hike.
While no camera can capture the beauty one sees along the trail, here is a slideshow of some of the photos I took.
It's my hope that this site will spark memories in those who have spent time on the Trail, and inspire those who might someday make the journey.
