On Oct 27, 2007, Notre Dame School principal, Barbara Ann Arnoldo and St James School principal, Patricia Berthiaume, were invested into the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. First founded in the 11th century at the end of the First Crusade, and most recently re-constituted in 1949, membership in this Order is the highest Papal award which can be conferred on clergy and laity alike. Membership recognizes outstanding service to the Church, and entails a personal, solemn commitment to prayerfully and vigorously supporting Christian presence in the Holy Land. The students and staff of Notre Dame de Lourdes and Saint James schools are especially proud of you!
