Hello parents and welcome to my "Meet the Teacher" feature! As a parent myself, I like to know a little bit about my children's teachers so here is a mini-biography of me... I graduated from Biddeford High School in 1985. Upon graduation I attended the University of Maine in Farmington (UMF) where I majored in Elementary Education. In 1990, I graduated from UMF with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I assumed my first teaching position in 1992 at the Biddeford Primary School. I taught first grade for 7 years before moving on to second grade in 1999. My husband Rick and I have two energetically fun boys. I love camping, crafts, scrap booking, computing, and traveling. Some of my favorite trips have been to Hawaii, California, Nevada, Florida, and the Caribbean. I think the most important thing you should know about me is that I LOVE TEACHING! I can't wait to get back to school. See you soon!
