Lila! I got my costume, it is spectacular! I might have to do some minor
adjustments but all in all a pretty good fit. The beading is amazing! I did
check your alterations page, and its been very helpful, but doesn't explain
how to take beads off the cup of the bra. Will I have to go on the inside of
the lining to snip them off??

It is absolutely lovely - I am totally entranced!
You are right that the picture on the website does not show how
beautiful the costume is - in real life the costume is such a gorgeous
rich, warm golden colour that sparkles and twinkles in the light. I

The belt is a perfect fit and the bra cups perfectly enhance my
natural shape! I will just have to do a little adjustment, taking the
bra band in a little, and shortening the bra straps but, apart from
that, it is an absolutely perfect fit.

i was looking around online for ideas for a cool, light, costume for
this upcoming halloween (early i know, but i make all my own
costumes!) and saw your sight for bellydancing attire. i looked at the
galery, and was postivly THRILLED to see pictures of non-hourglass

in a belly dancing costume because of the pictures of the obious
mothers (stretch marks) and the ones that have even more obious weight

I received the costume and it just took my breath away! It is so
incredibly beautiful! The belt fits perfectly! I was so worried
because I have got a set of hips and then some! I have to make a few
modifications to the bra straps (nothing too difficult!) and once I have
done that, I will have my husband take a picture of me in the entire

If you ever get a green or copper with silver that has a belt that will
fit 41" hips, please keep me in mind! I have a 34" underbust

My performance last Monday night in the red costume went very well! Red is always a crowd-pleaser, particularly at the nursing home where we perform regularly for the residents. The costume was much admired by all! I gave a few of the girls in my troupe your brochures, I hope you hear from them! The silver harem pants were an excellent finishing touch to this costume. I always wear harem pants under my skirts because I am very fair skinned, and am a "health nut" so I stay out of the sun, and I don't care for the sight of my white, bare legs! Plus I feel my skirts move more gracefully over harem pants. I finally had someone make silver lame ones for me ... they were impossible to locate and I was afraid to try to sew them myself because that fabric does fray. A professional did an excellent job for me for about $45.00 and I wear them with the two costumes I bought from you! Looks awesome with the silver and white, my teacher calls it my "Ice Princess" costume! Unfortunately I did not get any pictures taken at this performance, I forgot my digital camera in rushing to get there in time, and no one else had one, but I will be sending pictures of me in both costumes soon, I will just put them on at home the next time I have someone around to take a few pictures! It weighs 7 1/2 lbs: the details on the shoulders are fantastic and the leaded crystal accents create a nice effect. It seems like costumes always run quite a bit big for me. I think I could look into petite sizes except I'm a D to DD bra. Around the ribs I actually measure like 31 inches right under the breasts but if I do it around and up over the breasts like they do to measure standard bra sizes then I'm a 36. I've lost quite a bit of weight so I'm still getting used to my sizes now so maybe that's it.
