Version 1.6.0.129 - 2006-01-31 Custom Triggers. You may now specify specific things in the log file to look for. Once matched, ACT can notify you by sound, adding a timer, or simply recording it on screen. The custom triggers use Regular Expressions, so you may wish to familiarize yourself with those or ask for help on the forum. Custom Sounds. You may now specify custom wave files as sound events for certain things instead of only the system default beep. Spell Timers. You may now specify a warning value which will turn the timer a different color when below it. There is also sound configurations for timer starting, expiring, and reaching the warning value. HTML Exporting. Pie chart exporting has been added, and pet links work a little bit better, though Microsoft needs to fix table exporting compatibility. EQ2 HTML Exporting. You can now enable automatic culling for HTML window exporting as well. Graph uploading is now enabled, and ACT tries to clean up after itself as it goes. Culling must be enabled for graphs to be. Version 1.5.0.128 - 2006-01-13 Automatic encounter culling. You may now enable an option which will every 10 seconds check the number of encounters and remove from the top of the list if there are too many. This option will help with increased CPU usage over time as more encounters pile up. Clipboard/Miniwindow templates. You can now save and load formatting templates for clipboard exporting and Mini window viewing. They will both act normally except each now has their own sorting method. You may quickly change the Mini window format by right clicking on it and selecting a saved template, and you may clipboard export normally or select a custom format from a list using the context menu. This is in addition to manually changing the template from the options. EQ2 HTML Exporting. You may now have ACT automatically upload EQ2 compatible HTML files to remote FTP servers. This will allow people not running ACT to view your parse tables from within EQ2 fullscreen. A config program has been included to easily set EQ2's homepage without having to do the INI modifications yourself. Misc. The updater has been rewritten in an attempt to fix issues people have had with upgrade downloads. Real time parsing should take up to 15% less CPU time; importing from file should take up to 30% less CPU time. Version 1.4.3.127 - 2005-12-30 Clipboard variables. Several clipboard variables have been added as optional replacements of more verbose versions. The replacements are capitalized versions of the old ones, such as '{NAME4}' or '{EXTDPS}'. A new variable, '{maxhit}' has been added and will show the highest hit recorded in the scope that it is used in (allies or per person). Automatic Encounter Naming. Generated encounter names will now be calculated by the most damage taken divided by the number of times they were killed, instead of simply damage taken. This will more accurately show how much health each type of mob has, and therefore which is likely strongest. Importing from File. You may now set the date AND time range to import from. Misc. Per swing bar charts will now attempt to draw bars less than 1 pixel in width instead of showing nothing at all if too many swings are present. Several misc internal changes. Version 1.4.2.126 - 2005-12-21 Added support for swarm pet tracking from LU#18. All pets, persistant or not, now follow a similar syntax for naming. If the "Count a pet's damage as part of the owner's total." checkbox is checked, all pets created by the caster will appear as spell damage. IE, aery hunter, protoflame, wolf ally, etc. No longer as "Pet Melee" etc. If unchecked, they will appear as combatants with the same names as appears on the name tag over them. Version 1.4.1.125 - 2005-12-13 Double-click navigation. You may now in most views double click on an entry in the DataGrid to navigate to the appropriate listing in the TreeView. Automatic Encounter Naming. Upon an encounter ending, ACT will rename the encounter after the enemy that has suffered the most damage. Damage Types-view pie chart. Clicking on an entry such as 'Outgoing Damage', 'All Inc (Ref)', etc will now show a pie chart depicting each attack type's share. Sorting by damage, hits, swings, and resists will show different charts. Any other sorting method will default to damage. Misc. HTML data from the 'Copy as HTML' context menu selection will now truncate whitespace such as tabs or new lines in order to facilatate forums(such as phpbb) that do not handle it well. In bar charts that show every swing, things such as Resist or Parry are now abbreviated. Version 1.4.0.124 - 2005-11-22 Bugfix involving the Auto Version Check not showing the window when a new version was available. Version 1.4.0.123 - 2005-11-18 Swarm pets. A new option under Miscellaneous allows ACT to better track pets such as a protoflame or aqueous hunters. Since nothing in their name suggests their master, ACT must track emotes to make assumptions on damage reporting. For this function to work properly, you must be in emote range of both the caster, and target. (Emote range is lower than damage reporting range) Cross computer clipboard sharing. This feature is for users running ACT on a different computer than EQ2 (using LAN to parse the log file over the network). When ACT and the companion program are connected, whenever ACT exports encounter data to paste, it is instead sent to the connected computer's clipboard. Sending Feedback. There is now an easy way to send me, the author, feedback or bug reports. On the About tab, you can find a submission form which will contact me directly. Easier Deleting, and now merging of encounters. On the main tab, there is now an option to show checkboxes in the TreeView. You can use these checkboxes to bulk delete encounters, or merge several encounters into one. Version 1.3.3.122 - 2005-11-10 The healing messages now appearing since LU#16 should be properly handled. Version checking is now threadded so that automatic checks at start up do not pause the program due to the server being unresponsive. Version 1.3.2.121 - 2005-10-26 Parts of the internal data structure are now cached instead of always calcuated on the fly. This should considerably speed up the generation of tables based off of old encounters that have already been viewed. Advanced graphs will not be able to benifit, though simple graphs should. Simple encounter bar graphs now can hide non-allies. The toggle option can be found under Graphing and is defaulted on. Fewer .NET Framework error messages should be visible to the user and are instead sent to the "Advanced Combat Tracker.log" file. Version 1.3.1.120 - 2005-10-13 Right clicking the TreeView on the left should now respond more intuitively. IE, it will first select the item clicked instead of bringing up a menu for the previously selected item. The resists report will now better count skill swings that do not report their damage type. ExtDPS sort now updates correctly for the in-game 'current graph' display. The combatant, 'Unknown' will no longer appear in text exports. Persistant pets should now show in the Mini Parse window with the proper settings. The mini window also can now use ally detection to show allied stats or cull enemies from view. During large raids, the mini window updating once per second could sometimes cause extreme CPU strain; for this an update interval option has been added. (Default is 5 seconds) Version 1.3.0.119 - 2005-10-01 ACT now parses the new expansion message indicating that the successful attack inflicted no damage. You may now export to the clipboard "allied" statistics. These will be totals of all combatants to have shown to be your ally in the encounter. Ally detection is reliant on other combatants doing damage to your foes, or healing your allies. If you take no action in an encounter, and no action is taken against you, you will have no allies. Clipboard exporting may now filter out people who are not your allies. Clicking twice on an encounter will no longer attempt to rename it. You must use the right click context menu in order to do so. The Export option in this context menu will ignore your existing export options and export to the clipboard only. The binary export format has changed making the old files incompatible. The new format can be as low as 10% the size of the previous exports and will unlikely change again soon. Non damaging attacks will no longer show as negative numbers, but as "Miss", "Resist", etc. Std Dev in the Damage Types View was replaced by a "Resist" category showing the type of damage the attack used. Fury's Ring of Fire, and Illusionist's Personae will show as a spell under their masters. More expansion pets will be added when I see them. Version 1.2.0.118 - 2005-09-09 Resizing columns on the DataGrid should no longer incorrectly trigger sorting by the column next to it. The Mini Parse window should now sort its data by the main table's sorting method more reliably, instead of only when the main window was open and unlocked. Added a spell timers window. Accessable via a button on the upper right, you can give an exact spell name and a recast delay. When a spell by that name causes damage or is resisted, a visual countdown timer is displayed. A new timer will not be created if a timer of the same name already exists and has half or more of its time left. This is to protect against AE spells creating 6-24 timers all at once, or a spell with a DoT component creating shadows. If an entry is unchecked, then new timers will not be created for it. You may manually create abstract timers by creating a custom entry and double clicking the graphical panel. These timers do not follow the previously stated protection rules. Version 1.1.1.117 - 2005-09-05 Added a button to the upper-right to show/hide the Mini Parse window, and adjusted some default settings. You can now sort the DataGrid by simply clicking on the column headers. Fair warning to all, the order in which the main table is sorted will affect the order of combatants in clipboard posting. So if you do a lot of that, be wary of how you last sorted it. Reversed sorting by Damage or ExtDPS will be the most common. Version 1.1.0.116 - 2005-09-01 Added an option that upon startup will attempt to split the log file if over a specified size. File scanning for specific dates in a log file while importing should now take under a second, while parsing the log file itself should take 30-40% less CPU time. (Bugfix)If EQ2 fullscreen graph generation is checked while importing logs, it will temporarily cease until importing is complete. The parser now keeps track of killing blows. They will show up as Non-Melee hits of -2. This change will not be retroactive in exported *.act files, and must be reparsed to reflect changes. Three report views have been added. The Resists and Death reports can be accessed by right clicking a combatant's name in the treeview to the left. The Calculate Median Delay report can be accessed by right clicking an attack type. The Resist report will show a table of the different attack types made against the combatant. If the combatant is immune to cold damage for instance, the to hit percentage will likely be 0% and will show up red. The Death report will show a graph of damage and heals the combatant took in the last 10 seconds of life. The Median Delay report will show a distribution graph of the delays between uses of a certain skill/attack and highlight the median delay. This should assist in timing things such as AoE spells from mobs instead of manually looking at the AE times and subtracting yourself. Version 1.0.0.113 - 2005-08-01 First Public Release
