MY STORY...

I'm Bruce, a 40-something single dad, yes I have custody, which may consume a lot of time, but I wouldn't trade that for the world. My sons are 14 and 16 years old, and a stepson who is 21 and recently married to a wonderful young woman. My interests include a variety of seemingly unrelated areas. I like NBA Basketball, NFL Football, Listening to 'Good Music' (Rick Wakeman is my favorite), History - American, world, local, space flight, and family history - as I have ancestors that sailed on the Mayflower (from England to Plymouth, MA USA , in 1620), a very famous event in American history. I like spending time on the internet meeting new friends from around the world, and I must say I have met many great people! I like to watch certain TV programs such as "A&E Mysteries", shows related to my interests, a few good comedies - new and old - (Seinfeld & Mr. Ed for example), and of course Star Trek. - the absolute best thing that ever hit the old boob tube. I do like to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, at the ocean or the mountains and selected places in-between, living in Maine these are all accessible. When the kids are grown and on their own, I'd like to travel to England, mainland Europe, South America, Hawaii, Jerusalem, and I've always wanted to climb the Great Pyramid in Egypt! A ride in a Space Shuttle is a bit unrealistic, but I'd do that as a first choice! Some may see me as a bit eccentric, but I like to think of it as being diverse. I don't like to judge people on any basis except for the person that they are. Money, race, ethnicity, color, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, political beliefs and so on - just don't form the criteria and basis for friendships, working relationships etc. To be continued when something new and interesting happens......................
